Rob Trujillo… Metal Bassist?

Most of you will probably know Rob as the bassist for Metallica. Some of you might also know of his playing with Ozzy Osbourne and his original rise to fame playing for Suicidal Tendencies.

All those bands are pretty “Metal”. But to only think of Rob as a straight “Metal” player would be missing out on a whole other side to his playing. Rob’s also a fantastic funk player and there’s no better example of this than his work with the awesome Infectious Grooves.
