In this lesson we’re going to look at five of the greatest bass riffs from the amazing Led Zeppelin, played by the awesome bass player: John Paul Jones!

Led Zeppelin Bass Lines Rock!

Every song is pretty much a masterclass in rock bass playing and you get to work on so many different aspects of how bass can be used in an arrangement from doubling guitar riffs to weaving intricate and improvised melodic lines through a progression.

John Paul Jones is obviously a huge name in bass playing but he’s often overlooked in favor of some of the more flamboyant players from that era. Don’t fall into that trap. John Paul Jones is a monster player and writer.
