I get to play bass with friends ONLY because of my singing voice. I would like to learn how to accompany myself on the bass so that I don’t need karaoke tracks. I have no idea where to start, though I read music OK and have a good sense of music theory. My music does not have chord diagrams but it does have the notes for piano accompaniment

That’s a brutal chord. My pinky is screaming bloody murder. LOL!

I literally can’t do these chord. My fingers just can’t reach all four at the same time. Regardless of which finger I put where.

I cannot play the chord either so I arpegiate it.

Is this chord voicing easier to reach on a 5 string bass than a 4 string bass? I can’t bend my 2 finger that far down.
